well im reluctant to use conjure flame. cus then i have to replace my 5/1 vamp string with a fiery string. with vamp string i can deal +5 dmg and get healed a fair amount. so whats better, fiery+conjure+barrage? or vampstring + barrage + judges insight?

I thought vampiric string only stealed health from the damage you dealt, therefore resolving in no more extra damage dealt, just that you gain 5 life per hit from it. Zealous, that's another matter.

It's Meteor Shower, not Asteroid Shower. And it causes exhaustion, and it has a 25 energy cost. Far too much for a ranger.

i'd like to say vamp+JI is better because of the +10% AP and the holy damage, not to mention the added +5 from the vamp. i'm not too sure about the conjure, but in my experience it's not quite worth it because the conjure and the fiery bowstring both get mitigated by armor. whenever i go up against any armored enemies (i.e. ranger and warrior enemies) my DPS drops using an elemental bowstring. that needs to be confirmed, so don't take my word for it.

I checked GuildWiki. It says that Vampy strings do life stealing, like Vampiric Gaze and Vapiric Touch. So yes, they tack on +1-5 damage to your attacks. This is probably why everyone wants them so badly, and why they cost a mint and a half.

yes it adds damage, have you ever been hit with one? it doesn't take 5 off the regular dmg and put it under LS...LS is additional

and armor pen on JI is 20%

the whole combo for barrage is use a vamp bow and a pet.thats all it is there is no skills that work well with it but that.using barrage makes you a lite support mortar position.if everyone dies you are screwd big time.

Barrage + Zealous + Judge's is probably the best combo, especially if you can find someone else to put JI on you. Without the Zealous you're really going to run into energy problems, with zealous, you can barrage almost every shot. Also remember that Favorable winds give each barrage arrow +6 damage, so don't overlook it.

i have used barrage alot and fire it all the time the only time i run into energy problems is when the battle lasts over 2 minutes

u only get +dmg from conjure when you do fire dmg.. so you nee a fire string
